Fixed assets are stated at cost, less accumulated depreciation and amortization, and are summarized as follows:

Depreciation and amortization expense of fixed assets for the three-month periods ended March 31, 2020 and March 31, 2021 was $735 and $845, respectively. This includes amortization of costs associated with computer software for the three-month periods ended March 31, 2020 and March 31, 2021 of $131 and $107, respectively.
