RedPrairie Will Integrate I.D. Systems' Real-Time Wireless Asset Monitoring System With Its Supply Chain Optimization Tools

Together, by integrating I.D. Systems' real-time wireless asset monitoring capabilities with RedPrairie's backbone of supply chain optimization tools, the companies expect to achieve a synergy that will deliver unique economic benefits to enterprises involved in manufacturing and distribution.

Both I.D. Systems and RedPrairie currently provide best-practice technologies for various aspects of supply chain management, such as workforce optimization, asset visibility, and safety management. The companies are also active in many complementary vertical markets, including automotive, consumer goods, and retail.

I.D. Systems' patented Wireless Asset Net(r) system controls, tracks, and manages material handling vehicles and the people who operate them.
