I.D. Systems Introduces New Industrial Truck Telematics Solution Aimed at Small & Medium Sized Manufacturing, Distribution, & Retail

Developed by the Keytroller division of I.D. Systems, the 106 offers the perfect balance of features and cost to enable 100% forklift fleet visibility in even the smallest fleets

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- I.D. Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDSY), a leading provider of enterprise asset management technology announced today that the Keytroller division has developed a new class of industrial truck telematics platforms aimed at small to medium sized fleets in use in Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, and Retail centers. This same platform can also secure & track construction heavy equipment. The 106 is being introduced a LogiMat in Stuttgart, Germany today and will be commercially available, in volume, in early summer.

The new 106, offers a perfect blend of size, ease of installation, ease of use, and value. The system does not require complicated IT support, as it operates over a Bluetooth direct connection to an iPad or iPhone. Upgrades to multi-site WiFi-connected systems will be available. Now site managers at warehouse, manufacturing, distribution and retail environments can know that only certified operators are using their equipment, document that they have completed required safety checklists, and keep track of how their equipment is operated. Peace of mind at an affordable price – that’s the 106.

“The 106 marks a true leap forward to making telematics available at every fleet, regardless of size, budget, or technical sophistication,” stated Terry Wickman, President of the Keytroller division. “There are more than 10 million industrial trucks globally and the vast majority of this huge opportunity is in mid-to-small fleets. The 106 hits the opportunity in the bullseye.”

“We are excited to be working with the Keytroller team to bring such an affordable and easy to use product to the European marketplace,” added Ute Filippone, ID Systems’ EMEA Manager. “We are actively recruiting distributors in selected geographies throughout Europe.”
